Hey, due to recent threats on my life I thought that I would throw you all a bone....... Recently the " Big guy on campus" (EHLTB) and I had a conversation about Global Warming...... How we got on the subject I don't know...... But he said he saw an Old SNL where Dennis Miller talked about how everyone was worried about it being too cold and that we were going to freeze. So EHLTB thought what if the Earth just goes through cycles and that is how God made it..... there was more wisdom to that then what we know...... the following is an editorial in the Winona "free" paper......bear with me.... I think this is funny......
"It is amazing that so many people believe global warming is caused by humans. This myth has been largely promoted by the major media that gives much attention to those who support it and very little to hose who debunk it."
"For example, in December, Senator James Inholfe of O.K. Chaired a " Climate change and the Media" meeting. He states that global warming is a hoax. the meeting received almost or no major media attention."
"At this meeting, Dr. David Deming, a geophysicist at the University of Okalahoma, stated, " I was contacted by a reporter for N.P.R.. He offered to interview me, but only if I would state that the warming was due to human activity. When I refused to do so, he hung up on me."
"Deming also said that he received an astonishing e-mail from a major researsher in climate change that read," We have to get rid of the Mideval Warm Period where the world was warm or warmer that it is today. But it is an obstacle to those maintaining that the current warming trend is abnormal. Sorry fro such a serious post, but it just goes to show that sometimes the media rules in the U.S. if it is the truth or not...

Of course global warming is a myth- I mean, MANKIND WOULD NEVER SCREW ANYTHING UP would we now? We are so caring and responsible as a species- it couldn't possibly be OUR fault that the climate is changing!

In the 1970's, world scientists argued that humankind was indeed screwing up the world with pollution. That fact was illustrated by Dennis Miller who was on Leno (not SNL) with article clippings from major reliable magazine. These articles claimed that the earth was undergoing global "COOLING". I clearly recall it. Articles were written in Time, Popular Science, and others to alert the world of the ensuing threat of the new “ice-age”. Now we're making it hot? We'll see. In 20 years, if it's cold again, I'm gonna be pissed! (I am certain someone will come along and say… “Now it’s BOTH! We’re making it hot AND cold” ….Whatever!
